(Lima, Exclusive SoloAzar) - At the Peru Gaming Show 2024, we spoke exclusively with Dave Kubajak, Head of Sales, Marketing and Operations at JCM. Kubajak highlighted the innovations and trends presented by the company, offering a detailed overview of how JCM is adapting to the LATAM market and reaffirming its leadership in ticket validation technology and customer focus. Don't miss the full details in our exclusive conversation!

Firstly, Dave Kubajak began by saying that it was a pleasure to meet with customers from Peru and across Latin America as JCM's regional partners demonstrated the industry-leading iVIZION and UBA Pro banknote validators and GEN5 thermal printer. “What’s exciting about our bill validation products is they accept the majority of the world’s currencies”, he said.
This capability is particularly relevant in regions such as Latin America, where visitors often travel with their national currency. The iVIZION and UBA Pro models allow operators to accept different currencies on gaming machines, which is a great advantage.
In addition, attendees at the event were impressed by JCM's GEN5 thermal printer. Kubajak pointed out that this printer can not only print tickets, but also promotional offers, while maintaining "the highest levels of security and reliability".
Our interviewee also shared that the response from visitors and attendees at the show was very positive: "We have received a very warm response from visitors to our booth and attendees at the show," he said.
He was pleased to be represented at the show by its authorised partner in Peru, Electronic Group Venture, and expressed his hope to continue reconnecting with customers in person. Visitors were impressed with JCM's products, which not only increase security and efficiency, but also enhance the customer experience.

Regarding the importance of the Peruvian market for JCM, Kubajak highlighted that "Peru is an important market for JCM and in Latin America. Peruvian regulators are leaders in their field in Latin America, which has done a great deal to advance the industry in the country". He further emphasised that at JCM, "our customers come first", and their partnership with Electronic Group Venture as the local sales and support team allows them to better serve customers throughout Peru.
When asked how recent regulation in Peru affects the online sector and what opportunities and challenges have arisen as a result of this change, he explained that although JCM does not serve the online sector, as a company they support legal and regulated gambling. "We will continue to focus on providing players with the best possible experience in casinos and land-based gaming environments," he added.
Finally, on the growth of the iGaming industry in Latin America, Kubajak commented: “We will leave speculation surrounding iGaming to analysts. What we can say is the land-based market in Peru continues to shine, and JCM will support our customers with the world’s leading products that enable the safest, fastest, most secure transactions available.”
